Assistant Superintendent Named

Posted Date: 4/25/25 (2:16 PM)

Dear SACS families,

Upon being named the incoming Superintendent, effective July 1, 2025, it is both my responsibility and honor to identify the next leader to serve in my previous role of Assistant Superintendent. Following a committee-based interview process, I will recommend Jeanine Kleber for this position at the May 6, 2025, SACS School Board Meeting.

With over 27 years of experience in public education, Ms. Kleber began her career in elementary education, serving as a Title I Teacher, Elementary Teacher, and Assistant Principal. Since 2006, Ms. Kleber has served the students, staff, and families of Southwest Allen County Schools as Haverhill Elementary’s Principal, before moving to her current position as Director of Student Learning in 2020.

Ms. Kleber is a proven leader with a strong ability to make and enhance instructional decisions across K–12 settings. Recognized for her versatility and dedication, she currently effectively wears many hats within the district. Her current position includes serving as the 504 Coordinator, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Coordinator, Corporation Test Coordinator, District Safety Coordinator, Federal and State Data Reporter, and McKinney-Vento Liaison. Most recently, Ms. Kleber led a committee-driven initiative to implement high-quality science curriculum and instructional materials across SACS schools.

Ms. Kleber is known for her collaborative approach and her ability to inspire and support educators while keeping student growth and well-being at the heart of every decision. In her role as Assistant Superintendent, she will oversee curriculum and instruction, professional development, as well as support the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives throughout the district.

Ms. Kleber holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education with specialization in mild disabilities and a master's degree in school administration.

I have no doubt as Assistant Superintendent Ms. Kleber will continue to serve our students, staff, and families with dedication, expertise, and a steadfast commitment to educational excellence.

Our future is bright,

Dr. Joshua St. John, Incoming Superintendent
Southwest Allen County Schools
